Product Details
Meaning furrows in Scottish Gaelic, Claiseach is a simple hat pattern with garter stitch detail up each side. Knit as either a beanie or a slouchy hat it is a fantastic way to show off those special yarns, especially speckled and variegated yarns. It has four sizes with beanie and slouchy versions for each and instructions on how to adjust the length to suit yourself.
The pattern is fully written instructions and also includes a photo tutorial for a super stretchy cast on called the Estonian Cast-On for the bottom of the glove and the backward loop cast-on. The pattern has been tech edited and test knitted.
The white with black speckles is knit in Adult Slouchy with Eden Cottage Yarns Hayton DK and the teal is Cascade 220 Superwash in Child Beanie.
