Yarn- 160 m = 50 g (174 yd = 50 g) YarnArt Jeams - 55%cotton and 45% polyacril, but any yarn can be used.
Jute twine –2 mm, 100 g jute yarn - 110 m, 3 ply. For a pair of soles I used jute yarn - from 120 g (for the smallest size) to 140 g (for the largest size) and cotton yarn approximately 30-40 g.
US-C, 2.5 mm (for cotton yarn) and US-E/4, 3.5 mm (for jute yarn) crochet hook /I recommend working with a metal hook/
