US 3 (3.25mm) Circular Needles – 32" (80cm) (opens in a new tab) |
Product Details
INTRODUCTION: This is a pair of vanilla socks just as I like them. After having published photos of my socks on Instagram, some of my followers asked me to write down the way I make my socks. So here are my favourite basic socks. The socks are knit in the round and they are made toe-up with a gusset and heel extension using short rows. The pattern is written to use Magic Loop method but if you rather use dpn:s you can adjust it for your needs.
SIZE: The length of the sock is adjustable while the sock’s circumference will be 18.5(22.5) cm, 7.25(9.0)”.
YARN: 210-250m of Austermann Step 6 or similar durable sock yarn in sport weight
NEEDLES: Circular needles with length at least 80cm, 32” in size needed to obtain above listed gauge. Suggested needle size: 3.25mm, US3
A special thank you to my fantastic testknitters Suddgummi and Gax!
