Pattern worked perfecly and fits infant now about 9lb in first size well. The bonnet has been much worn in the recent cold weather. I used Hayfield Blossom Chunky and to make the most of the 'blossoms' I knitted the fronts and back of the coat in one piece up to the armholes. I used smaller needles than recommended as my tension was loose. I was pleasantly surprised at how cute this turned out not withstanding the non traditional use of 'chunky' yarn. A huge success for a winter baby girl although I say it myself. A speedy knit in 'chunky' so I didn't print off the pattern but knitted from the screen instructions.
