“My Beloved Cohansie” is a collection of journal entries by Philip Vickers Fithian,a patriot and minister born in Greenwich, New Jersey in the 1700’s. His journal details everyday life in the village and on the Cohansie river, where my husband and I reside when we’re away from the crazy life of New York City. Not much has changed in the sleepy little village since, well, except for the pirates. The beauty of the Cohansie is much as it was back then.
The stitch used for Cohansie reminds me of the patterns in the water as it rolls along its winding banks and the Fleece Artist Woolie Silk captures the mood perfectly in the Salt Spray colorway.
