These hard-working boot cuffs are designed to fold over the top of boots so they can be at the ready by the door. The ribbing is on the inside and blocks chilly drafts. Coirceog is the Irish word for “hive” and “cone.” A perfect pattern to showcase two colors of Irish Aran yarn.
Tools: 4mm or 6 US and 4.5mm or 7 US DPNs or 16-inch (40.64cm) circular needles, or size needed to obtain gauge. Tapestry needle.
