Color Burst Ornaments is the newest installment of my Holiday Ornament designs. This time around is adding a zip of colowork to the tree. Pattern includes instructions for 2 sizes of ornaments and 4 unique charts. Each chart shows 3 different color options as well as a "color your own" section for a total of more than 2 dozen unique ornament options.
Supplies
Fingering weight yarn 22-30 yds of main color per ornament and approx. 3-5 yds each of 2-5 contrast colors per ornament. Samples shown in Willow Yarns Quest in the smaller size ornaments
Size 1 (2.25mm) needles for small diameter knitting, such as dpns, 2-circ, or magic loop (or size needed to get gauge) Stitch markers Darning needle 2.6 (3.3)” [70 (80)mm] glass or plastic ornament
Gauge 34 sts x 44 rows = 4” in stockinette
Finished Size Small (Large) Circumference: 8.2 (10.4)” Diameter: 2.6 (3.3)”
