Product Details
Such a fast way to use up tons of yarn leftovers. Since the scarf is a tube, you don't even have to hide the ends when you change colors! You can make any size or gauge scarf you'd like: with a pattern repeat of 2 sts, it's very easy to alter. The information above is for the “example size” shown here- see the “customize” section of the pattern to knit it in any size/any gauge.
Contrasting Color (CC): A ton of yarn leftovers in various weights. For a scarf at a gauge of 4.5 sts/in( 18 sts/4in/18 sts/10cm), use bulky and worsted yarns as-is, and use 2-4 strands of sport weight or sock yarn at a time. You can also twist strands of roving and knit that in too. I had a gallon- sized plastic bag of yarn scraps and I used most, but not all of it. Not enough yarn scraps? You could also select skeins of a few colors and do stripes, or use one contrasting color throughout.
