Comfort and Joy is a super-chunky, oversized, top-down raglan crochet cardigan pattern. With the option to add pockets and buttons, it’s perfect for cosy comfort on the sofa or a layer of warmth out in the wide world.
Skills: This is a relatively simple, top down crochet cardigan pattern using (US) single crochet and chains for the body and half double crochet for the hem and cuffs. The pattern includes a chart showing the first 8 rows of the rectangular yoke to help you get started.
Materials: You will need 480m - 930, super chunky yarn, depending on size chosen, and a 12mm hook, or size needed to obtain gauge.
Sizing: The cardigan pattern is written in 7 sizes from XS - 3XL. The pattern includes a table and schematic showing approximate measurements of the finished cardigan.
