Product Details
The Cornish Heritage Collection includes a hat, cowl and fingerless gloves, each inspired by a historic site managed by Cornwall Heritage Trust.
Treffry Viaduct lends its imposing pillars and arches to the Treffry hat. The Celtic knot carvings on King Doniert's stone are transposed to the King Doniert's cowl. The ring ditches and ancient trackway of Caer Bran adorn the Caer Bran gloves. These motifs are worked using cables, slipped and twisted stitches. The Treffry hat also features a lateral braid. The hat and gloves are written for adult small, medium and large sizes while the cowl is single-size. However, each pattern includes a Size Modification section with specific suggestions of where to add stitches or rounds for a custom size, step by step calculations you will need and chart adjustments where applicable.
All three patterns are provided in charted and written form. £2 from each sale of the collection will be donated to the Cornwall Heritage Trust.
