Short Row Stockinette Stitch Hat with Pointed Top
Garter stitch border, curved brim with yarn overs, and a large pointy top (12 inches high!) makes for a whimsical and funky hat, slouchy and perfect for thick rustic handspun yarns. The hat knits up in just a couple of hours, making it fast enough for gift giving, but entertaining enough to knit to keep you occupied!

Size 19 inches around by 12 inches high; finished size stretches to 24 inches around
Yarn 100 yards bulky weight yarn- sample knit in Midnightsky Fibers bulky weight single (1 ply)
Materials -US #11/8mm needles (straight or circular) -Tapestry needle (one with a curved tip is best for grafting) -Waste yarn for cast on
Gauge 2.5 stitches and 3.5 rows per inch in stockinette stitch
