‘Cosy Christmas Cottage’ Crochet Handbag

Every year I buy a Christmas Canvas with a snowy scene and snow covered cottage, all comfortable and festive looking. And it's those very canvases that completely inspired me to design this handbag. Yes, I foremost designed this cottage to be my handbag but it did something I didn't expect - it became a snowed in cottage in its own right for my children who started playing with it.

So, ready to have a head turner of a bag, the cutest door stop, portable dollhouse or something decorative where you keep all Christmas chocolates?

This customisable house is for an intermediate crafter, the pattern (both available in UK and US terms) comes with photo guides as well as detailed written stitch descriptions.

I double stranded DK yarn for the main body of the bag and used it single stranded for appliqués - saves double purchase on same colour for different weights :)
