Product Details

The yak is fairly simple, with only one color change on the nose and horns (that will naturally curve if the seam at the tip is sewn tightly). It’s “mane” is really just a tuft of hair at the top of the head that works well using the fringe stitch. The tail also looks most natural in fringe stitch.

You need to have…

Yarn in desired color(s) and weight (~3oz/75g sport weight; ~12oz/350g worsted)

Dark contrast yarn for eyes and nose

Knitting needles at least 2 sizes smaller than those recommended for the yarn

Stuffing

Tapestry needle

Crochet hook for crochet loop or fringe stitch
