Product Details
These hats and mittens are inspired by the Cowichan sweaters of Vancouver Island in Canada. Each size uses a different set of motifs and the hats and mittens of each size match. (There is also a pattern available for a scarf in 4 sizes that also match these hats and mittens.) The patterns are worked in stranded knitting.
The sizes reflect: Small-4year old to small adult (Medium-8 years to small adult, Large-medium to large adult, Extra-large-large adult).
The hat and mittens combined use 3 colors of Brown Sheep Lamb's Pride Bulky yarn: 1 skein each of Creme and Sable, and 1 (2, 2, 2) skeins of Sandy Heather.
The mittens alone: 1 skein of each of 3 colors
The hat alone: 1 skein of Creme and Sable and 1 (1, 1, 2) of Sandy Heather
