Product Details
A longer sweater in a heavy weight yarn, with lace ribbing.
Sometimes I want something in between an oversized sweater, and my dressy fitted cardigans. Something loose and a little bit oversized, but still nice looking. Warm. Soft. Heavy. This sweater fills the gap.
This sweater is knit from the bottom up, seamlessly, and uses grafting at the underarms. It also uses an unusual method of adding shaping to the body and arms that I have named circular waist shaping. Everyone who loves knitting in the round in just plain stockingette will rejoice because it gives many more rounds of plain knitting with no counting to enjoy! This also makes the pattern suitable for newer knitters who are just getting into lace and want to learn how to graft.
This pattern is also available on Knit Picks website for 2.99
