Product Details

Cranberry Gose is an oversized tunic, meant to be worn over another shirt - it's the perfect thing for wearing indoors in winter, and the loose fit and length hides exactly what I need to hide come January...   It's a simple stockinette knit, with gansey detail around the shoulders, a split hem, and a nice loose sleeve.  Notes are included in the pattern to modify length, or to add an alternate neckline (crew neck, cowl or turtleneck instead of funnel as shown)

If substituting yarn, another DK weight wool will work fine - something without too much variegation, or the gansey detail may be lost.

I recommend picking the size that gives you about 10-12"/25.5-30cm of positive ease, based on your bust for fit as shown.

The sample was made with Green Mountain Spinnery Alpaca Elegance, shown in Rosehip. A suggested substitute yarn is below.

Notes
I suggest a long circular needle for these large flat pieces, and a shorter circular needle for working funnel neck and ribbing around sleeves
