Product Details
I have been 'knitting' rabbits for quite a while now and I thought it about time that I added a crochet one to my bunny menagerie.
So here he is.
He's crocheted by working just double crochet (single crochet) stitches in rows and sewn together as you go along (similar to my knitted bunnies) - so a kind of 'modular' crochet.
He does take a couple or three days to work up but at least you won't be left with endless pieces to join together afterwards?
He's nice and weighty due to the nature of crochet stitches and my yarn choices - I have crocheted with two and three strands together to achieve the tonal qualities similar to rabbit colourations.
Yarn-wise - as I've mentioned you can use similar choices to my suggestions or you could use any yarn to suit - it holds no bounds. You'll need a whole 50g ball of DK or aran for the back and about half that for the belly.
Skill-wise - I've suggested 'intermediate' although you do only have to know how to work double (single in US terms) crochet.
