I created this crochet Kayak pattern for a local community project. We yarn bombed a bridge over the Thames. Lots of kayaks were made along with many other wonderful creations. I have been surprised at how popular this pattern has been so I hope you will crochet one too and have as much fun as we did making kayaks. You can make the creations your own by making the characters into people you know or well known figures. The double kayak contain me and my husband. I also made the Princess from Star Wars and characters from Harry Potter. Have fun.

Excellent pattern, easy to follow . Great outcome 😃
Had to modify the actual kayak as that didn't work out the way I wanted. (I only used one side and folded it in on itself. It gave a much flatter kayak.)But that may have been me because I am not an expert in following crochet patterns. However, once I made it up it did have resemblance to my sister who loved it! I then did another one of her bubby! It would have been nice to have some pattern for a helmet or hat, as I just had to make that up and that didn't work out as well as I'd have liked. But the recipients loved what I did.
