Crossing Paths Cowl is worked in a gorgeous gradient yarn from Wollcandy. It comes in two sizes and is the perfect match for the Maschenfein Hat. All stitch patterns are written out as well as charted. Many thanks to my tech-editor cupani and my test knitters selana, katisha, DoZach and siro2.
Size:
Short: 21 cm [8.25”] high, 60 cm [23.5”] around
Long: 21 cm [8.25”] high, 120 cm [47.25”] around
Blocked Gauge: 1 pattern repeat (10 sts and 30 rounds) = 4.5 cm [1.75”] wide and 9.5 cm [3.75”] high
Materials: Wollcandy Cotton Blend Gradient (150 g [5.3 oz], 550 m [600 yd], 50 % cotton, 50 % polyacryl), 1 yarn cake in colorway Chianti. This is enough for the cowl and the hat. Or 150 (295) m [165 (325)] yd fingering weight yarn of your choice for the cowl. 3 mm [US 2.5] needles for your favorite method of knitting in the round (or a needle size needed to get gauge) 1 stitch marker
