This crochet pattern makes a set of crutches covers that go over standard size foam/PVC pads commonly found online. Do note that covers made from this pattern will be too large if used over crutches without the pads.
Gauge
5 modified sedge clusters x 7 rows = 5cm x 4cm
Gauge swatch is worked in rows but pattern is worked in rounds
ch 11 Row 1: (sc, dc) into the 3rd ch from hook, [ skip 1, (sc, dc) ]* repeat till end of row, ch 1
Rows 2-7: (sc, dc) into the 1st st, [ skip 1, (sc, dc) ]* till end of row
