What you'll need
Product Details
Some dragons are fierce and awesome, breathing fire, but these dragons are just cute and cuddly, perfect to be your friend. With this pattern you can make a dragon with claws, spikes and horns but they will be just a big softy at heart.
The instructions are detailed and easy to follow if you know the basic stitches and techniques used to make amigurumi, with lots of photos to help with the more tricky techniques. They are written using US crochet terms, and the list of abbreviations includes the UK alternatives.
Use double knitting (DK) weight yarn in any colours you like, slightly variegated yarns give a nice effect. Worsted weight yarn is a little thicker than DK but can easily be substituted and the pattern will still be in proportion, though you may need to use a little more and go up a hook size.
Main yarn colour, approx. 100g.
Secondary yarn colour for horns, claws, wings and spikes, approx. 25g.
Small amount of black yarn for mouth.
