This is a beginners stranded colorwork hat.
Both Worsted and Fingering versions are included in the pattern itself.
Worsted Version: Yarn: You will need approx. 100 yards each of 2 colors You're main color (MC) should be a solid and your contrasting color (CC) can be self striping, varigated or another solid with a great deal of contrast to the main color. Needles and Tools: Size US 6 (4mm) circular needle, 16" long Size US 6 (4mm) set of two circulars, double pointed needles, or one large circ for magic loop Tapestry needle Stitch marker Gauge: 20 sts and 24 rows = 4" in stockinette
Fingering Version: You're main color (MC) should be a solid and your contrasting color (CC) can be self striping, varigated or another solid with a great deal of contrast to the main color. Yarn: Approx. 400 yrds of MC and 200yds of CC Needles and Tools: 16" circular Size US 3 /3.25mm. 5 double pointed needles/two circs or 1 long circ: Size US 3 / 3.25mm.
