What you'll need
Product Details
A hand knitting pattern to create a colourful and cuddly bear cushion to cosy up to on lazy PJ days, brighten up a sofa, chair or bed, or gift to the bear lover in your life (if you can bring yourself to part with him). The front panel is worked flat from a chart in two colours using the double knitting technique. The back panels are worked flat in a two-colour slip stitch pattern and ribbing. The cushion cover is seamed and, if worked to the stated tensions, is designed to fit a 40cm square cushion pad when slightly stretched and uses 3 balls of WYS ColourLab DK.
This pattern is suitable for the intermediate knitter with some experience of the double knitting technique. The chart is also suitable for the intarsia technique although tension and yarn requirements may differ from those given in the pattern if used. Please note that there is no written alternative text for the bear chart so if you are not happy working from standard knitting charts this pattern is probably not for you.
