A modern take on an old favourite! This sweater has waist shaping and three-quarter sleeves along with a deep V neck - 2" deeper than 'normal' - and can be worn over a shirt or on its own.
The body is worked in the round with steeks at the neck and armholes. The sleeves are worked together with steeks between them, sometimes known as Siamese sleeves. The steeks are cut and the sleeves sewn in. The neck ribbing is then worked in the round.
There are coloured and symbol charts for the colourwork and the pattern is written out.
The original was worked in J&S 2 ply Jumper Weight using colours 1, 203, 27, 54, FC61 and FC51.

- 5 stitch markers are needed, and several stitch holders are lengths of yarn. A thin, straight needle is useful for picking up stitches.
