Easy to knit, great quality yarn. Colour as depicted on the website. I was in touch with the customer service to clarify if I needed to pay customs and VAT upon arrival and everything was, fortunately, taken care of at checkout.
Beautiful soft yet firm tweedy wool.
2nd time using this wool. Lovely to knit with. Bit darker than picture but still lovely colour
I have used this wool to knit a cosy beanie hat and am now in the process of knitting a scarf. I loved the wool, but wasn’t too sure about how it would knit up being pure wool. I am very pleased with how it’s looking. The wool tends to twirl around a bit as you knit with it, but you get used to it. Love the colour I chose too, it has a lovely variety of coloured flecks throughout. I would recommend this yarn.
Lovely yarn, but rather limited in colour choice. The original DB Luxury Aran used to have a huge palette of beautiful bright colours, and added angora.
Lovely strong wool and a delight to knit with. The different flecks of colour add a depth to the overall knit.
Beautiful tweed wool
Very gorgeous wool. Beautiful rich colour. And natural. Proper wool!
The young adults I knit for like the result, uneven ‘tweedy’ surface and good colours. Not very pleasant to knit, bits of rubbish caught in it, dry prickly plant, shreds even if plastic to pick out. Comes in annoying skeins which have to be undone and wound into balls. I knit it on 4.5 needles, better result than 5s. Coarse wool, clever marketing as a ‘luxury’ product
Knits beautifully and the colours are divine
