If you're an avid knitter of Debbie Bliss Lux Tweed, you may notice that your yarn may arrive as a gorgeous 50g hank and not the usual ball of yarn. Have enjoyed knitting with this product
The colour is lovely. It's a real pain having hanks instead of balls of wool. It may be more convenient for producers but it is tedious for knitters. Very tedious. The yarn is quite tough, hard, ,no softness, and of variable thickness from really quite thin to lumpy. I don't think I would buy it again.
An excellent example of beautiful Donegal tweed! Although the tweed bits aren’t very visible but the quality is lovely. I started making some mittens but have since sprained my left wrist so I won’t be finishing them for a few weeks yet.
Pretty color but yarn is not soft and not pleasant to work with.
Lovely colours and very eady to knit
Lovely yarn, great to work with
Lovely yarn, I bought the red one and it is a nice rich shade of red, the colours of nepp are good too, it is the best ‘tweed’ affect yarn I have knitted with. It is a bit rough to work with, but the end result is lovely. Delivery was nice and quick also. Well packaged. Happy customer😊
Lovely wool, haven't used it yet arrived quickly
Lovely colour
Easy to knit, great quality yarn. Colour as depicted on the website. I was in touch with the customer service to clarify if I needed to pay customs and VAT upon arrival and everything was, fortunately, taken care of at checkout.
