The Diamond Swatch Cloth is available so you can 1) look inside a Jill Wolcott Knits pattern, 2) make a diamond shaped swatch cloth, and 3) use the pattern as you like. I would normally not expect anyone to make a swatch for a wash cloth but, once you have it you will be ready to enter that information into the Pattern Tailor file when that is released in January, also as a free as a Pattern Tailor trial.
This Pattern is for making your swatch for the Pattern Tailor version of the Wash Cloth, so use your ball band information to get started here on your first Diamond Wash Cloth. It may not be exactly the size you want, but you will then be able to take the gauge and re-enter information in the Pattern Tailor.
Diamond Wash Cloths make excellent gifts! Pair them with soaps or lotions as easy hostess gifts, teacher gifts, etc. Wash cloths are a wonderful simple project for when you need a change of pace.
