Dip Dye is the latest craze in Denmark! Here is my contribution. Warm, chunky socks worked in the equivalent of DK weight yarn (two strands of fingering held together), they knit up really quickly. The sock is worked in stockinette stitch throughout, then turned inside out to get the subtle dip dye effect. Note that the pattern is available as both toe-up and cuff-down! Make sure to choose the right file when downloading.
These fun socks can be worked with any color you like. Go for high contrast to make them stand out, or for a lower contrast to make the color changes very subtle. Instructions include a short row heel and an afterthought heel, for you to choose. The pattern is written so it can be worked using the magic loop method, but can be easily worked using DPNs.
