What you'll need
Product Details
Bolero is made in one piece up to the armholes then divided, so that the fronts and the back are made separately.
Border is integral to the main body. The sewing involved is on the shoulders, sleeve seam, attaching the sleeves to the body and border to back of neck.
The fastening ties and the edging are made with very simple crochet.
Sizing and yarn substitution:
Sizing goes from 30" to 40" bust, but if you substitute another DK yarn & use 4mm needles not 3.5mm, then sizing increases 2" each size, so size range will be from 32" to 42". HOWEVER, we would strongly suggest that you buy extra 50g AT LEAST from quantities given in the pattern, as yardage of chosen yarn is generous.
Larger sizes still? - look at our worsted weight pattern.
Errata:
Rows 5 and 7 of the sleeve should read sl1 pw, P 0 (3, 0, 4, 0, 3) * P9 K1, rp from * to last 2 (3, 1, 4, 2, 3), P 2 (3, 1, 4, 2, 3)_
Stitch count after back shaping should be 67 & 71 for 4th & 5th sizes.
