Dolphins are very popular with people of all ages. This blanket would be suitable for a baby, child, or adult. It is shown as child-size but you can add a wide border to make any size you want.
The blanket shown used 600 metres in each of two colours. I used Stylecraft Special DK in Duck Egg and Petrol. You would need more for a wider border. You can use any yarn. A different thickness might change the overall size.
Illusion knitting is very easy to do. If you can knit stripes you can do it. When you look straight at the knitting you only see the stripes. The picture is revealed when you look from an angle.
The pattern includes three different versions of the chart - one on a single page, another split into four sections and the third for use on hand-held devices.
