Product Details
This is one of my most hat designs! It is very simple but the color work adds interest and makes it fun.
Please note that the Our Back 40 sport weight is like a fingering weight yarn. I held 2 strands doubled throughout the hat to get a worsted weight yarn. The gauge is 5 stitches per inch in stockinette stitch. Any worsted weight yarn that knits to this gauge will work great! You could also hold fingering/sock weight doubled to get this same weight of yarn.
You would need about 100 yards of both a Main Color and a Contrast Color (although less of the CC) in worsted weight yarn to knit this hat.
This hat is unisex! Great for boys, men, women, teens and girls!! The hat is super stretchy to fit a large range of sizes.
