The donkey is fairly easy, with just a couple color changes. You can choose between crochet chain loop or fringe stitches for the mane and tail. Most donkeys are shades of brown, but gray is also common (including Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh). I think donkeys are one of the cutest animals and their attributes make them even more endearing.
You need to have… • Yarn in desired color(s) and weight (~3oz/75g sport weight; ~12oz/350g worsted) • Dark contrast yarn for eyes and nose • Knitting needles at least 2 sizes smaller than those recommended for the yarn • Stuffing • Tapestry needle • Crochet hook for crochet loop or fringe stitch
