Product Details
The Dotty Socks are a fun sock knitted in three colours. They are worked in the round on double-pointed needles from the cuff down with a heel flap construction. Simple stranded colourwork in striped bands is featured on the leg and toe. The toe is closed using Kitchener stitch (grafting).
These socks were originally published in Homespun Magazine (Australia), issue 189 in April/May 2019.
The yarn used in the sample is Patons Patonyle Merino 4 ply 50g: 1 ball of Sand (1003) for Colour 1 (C1) and 1 ball of Dark Grey (1005) for Colour 2 (C2) and Malabrigo Sock 100g: 1 skein of Ravelry Red (611) for Colour 3 (C3)
A pair of socks uses approx 115-135 metres (126-148 yards) of C1, 145-180 metres (159-197 yards) of C2 and 100-115 metres (109-126 yards) of C3, in Fingering weight or 4 ply yarn.
