Product Details
Drifting Wave Sweater is a lightweight, ribbed pullover with a round neck. Its focal point is a distinguished sequence of ribbed cables, creating an illusion of a V-shape down the front and the back. A similar but reversed cable sequence is repeated on both sleeves. Alternating cables give this elegant piece of garment a lot of movement and dynamic. The fabric is airy and soft. The pullover is a real eye-catcher and a pleasure to knit and to wear.
It is knitted top down, completely seamless and has a modified drop-shoulder construction (inspired by contiguous set-in sleeve method by Susie Myers). The neckline is shaped with short rows. The yoke is worked in rounds before you split for front and back. Then it is worked in rows, before the front and back are joined again at the base of the armhole to be worked in the round. Sleeves are picked up at the edge of the armhole and worked in rounds to the cuff.
