Product Details
This is the crochet version of my Duck Billed slippers. It's a fairly easy pattern that I think would suit a newbie crocheter.
Tension: 10cm x 10cm square = 12 dc x 16 rows, size 5mm crochet hook or appropriate size to achieve the correct tension, Beaker Button Bountiful Aran 100g, 160m (x 2 for the large size).
4 Dorset buttons 2.6cm. I used a contrasting thread for my buttons. You will need 4 brass rings 2.6cm across and 10m of 4ply. You will also need a blunt needle. Sizes: small is about 20cm long, medium is about 22cm long and large is about 24cm long.
I have used different patterns for my buttons. The instructions in this pattern is for a Crosswheel, which is the easiest button to learn.
