Dustmen, rubbish men, bin men, refuse collectors, call them what you will; the Dustman Tea Cosy Knitting Pattern makes a fabulous garbage man that you'll adore.
He's wearing overall style dungarees, big boots and a flat cap. Bin men always seem to be happy and quick with a greeting, so it seems to follow that these cheerful workers would whistle as they worked. He has a full bin slung over his shoulder that he is carrying along to empty into the cart. On the top of the bin is a tied up dustbin bag full of rubbish.
It's a great tea cosy to knit and I think we have all found a new appreciation of frontline workers.
The pattern is knitted on two pins and is easy to follow and is mainly worked in stocking stitch.
The tea cosy fits a medium sized teapot that covers a Teapot that holds 6 to 8 cups or 2 pints.
