Product Details
At first I was thinking these would be nice for children’s bedroom doors at Easter. And then I thought perhaps they would be nice as children’s room decorations. The pattern includes directions for a Duck, Bunny and Lamb. You can play with different adornments, perhaps paper or silk flowers or Easter decorations. Have fun sorting through your stash of fancy yarns and left over decorations. Although I recommend chunky yarn for the wreath cover you could use two strands of Aran/Worsted Weight or two strands of double knit/light worsted weight held together. The finished measurement needs to be 7 inches/17cms wide and 25 inches/64cms long to find a 25cm diameter ring. Really anything goes! As with all my designs these are knitted flat and assembled. I have included a very detailed making up guide to help you which is full of photos, hints and tips. I have also included links to various yarns suggestions and where to purchase the polystyrene rings.

Lovely pattern from which you can experiment with your own colours and ideas. Rather than decorating with artificial flowers I knitted lots of flowers and leaves and even some bees and ladybirds to decorate the wreaths with and they looked great. I didn’t sew the feet to the wreath as I felt it gave the animal a bit more interest.
Lovely pattern. Easy to follow and clear instructions. Brilliant designer and I have many of her designs. Very approachable should you have a problem. Recommend this and all her patterns completely.
