Knitting pattern instructions to make a lovely cabled brimmed hat in Aran weight yarn,. A fairly simple cable pattern which is easy to read and follow. The hat can be worn with or without a pom pom. You will need 100g of aran weight yarn (a little more if you want a mataching pom pom) size 4mm and 5mm knitting needles, plus a cable needle. Knitted flat on straight needles . Will fit adult size head.

Lovely cable pattern, looks so good
Very easy to follow instructions and quick to knit in Aran weight yarn. In fact I've made several of them for Christmas stocking fillers using yarn from my 'stash.' I even made a very colourful one for my youngest granddaughter and added a pompom!
