If you plan on making only one -- which is hard to stop at 🙂 you do not use much of the skein of yarn. I used 2 skeins of yarn and still have a bit left over that I think I can get one more coaster out of. This pattern and 2 skeins of yarn made 12 crochet coasters. Very budget friendly project.
