Looking for a fun project for that special kid in your life? This bucket hat has been made with worsted weight cotton yarn in easy stockinette stitch. It is a simplified adaptation of my cotton daisy bucket hat pattern for kids for those that do not want to knit nupps. Luscious cotton yarn. Pattern requires knowledge of basic knitting and purling, knitting 2 together and making 1. It is knit in the round. Hat is knit in stockinette stitch and would work for boys, too, without the lace.

I had fun adding lace to this hat. The pattern is for the knitted portion of the hat ONLY. Be aware that if you add an embellishment like I did, where the lace does not stretch, that it will change the size considerably.
