Product Details
Eccentric Cowl is knit in the round with no seams and features two sizes and an easy but interesting lace pattern. Every second round is a plain knit round making this a fairly quick knit.
The small size sits comfortably in a single loop around the neck while the large size loops 2 or even 3 times around. It may also be worn in a variety of other eccentric ways!
The pattern includes both Charts and Written Instructions.
The small (orange) sample is 28” circumference + 24” deep and was knit with 1 skein of Wollmeise Pure Merino.
The large (grey) sample is 66” circumference + 20” deep and was knit with 2 skeins of Mad Tosh Merino Light.
Yardage used for sizes shown: 462m for the small and 744m for the large.
The pattern is adjustable to other sizes to accommodate differing yarn quantities available.
Any fingering weight wool or wool blend would work well with this pattern. Gauge: 20 sts to 4" over stocking stitch, unblocked.
