Because sometimes we’re just a little off-axis, right? These mitts are not quite circular and just tilted enough to get the stripes going at a slant. For those days when we don’t want to conform.

Knit mostly in the round, with some short row shaping. Choose a self-striping yarn and a contrasting solid for the ribbing. (Great for mini-skeins!)

The pattern is written with German Short rows, but can easily be converted to other wrap/turn methods.

Sizes: Adult Medium: 7” (17.8 cm) hand circumference, stretches to fit 7.5” (19 cm) Adult Large: 8” (20 cm) hand circumference, stretches to fit 8.5” (21.5 cm)

Skill Level: intermediate - requires ssk, k2tog, short rows, switching between working in the round and working flat, keeping track of shaping and gusset increases
