Once upon a midnight dreary… These gauntlets would have been handy to Mr. Poe while he was writing on that dreary night. Perhaps, if his hands had been warmer, he wouldn’t have been so gloomy. Edgar is a wrist warmer reminiscent of a lavish Victorian style. Filling the space between arm and sleeve, it's perfect for keeping your hands and arms warm without hindering your fingers. Great for steampunk cosplay.
Glove is worked in the round from palm to wrist. Skills required: knitting in round, single and double decreases, various increases, ribbing. Suitable for adventurous beginner to intermediate knitters
Ribbing in wrist makes the glove fit a wide range of sizes. Suitable for hand circumference 7 – 8 in/18 – 20 cm. The ribbing also allows you to wear the mitt higher or lower on the hand as desired. Length is customizable. As shown, 400 yd/366 m of yarn will make 2 pairs of mitts but extra yardage will be required for longer lengths. This is a quick knit that is perfect for gift giving.
