Product Details
When most people think if a yoked sweater, they immediately think of a top-down or bottom-up color stranded design evoking Fair Isle, Icelandic, or Nowegian/Scandinavian patterns.
This design features a cabled band that's begun with a provisional cast-on, then joined to form a circle. Upper yoke stitches are picked up along one edge and work with evenly spaced decreases to shape it. The lower yoke is picked up along the remaining long edge and worked down, with raglan increases. After dividing the body and sleeves, waist shaping is added for a more flattering fit, then ended with woven rib along the lower edge. The sleeves are worked in the same way, decreasing for the cuff.
