The children love this sweater. Sometimes they want to wear it backwards. Very easy pattern.
Check gauge: 5 stitches = 1 inch
***Before starting decide what style of finish you want on the waistband, wrist & neck:
Choose between a rolled look and rib.
If you choose rolled: with #5 needle: stockinette stitch (K 1 row, P1 row) for 8 rows total.
If you choose ribbed: with #5 needles- [K1, P1] repeat to end of row for 2"
Then, switch to #7 needles and continue pattern
