Product Details
Eliza Ruhamah Scidmore was an American writer, photographer, and geographer in the late 1800s and early 1900s. She was a frequent visitor to Japan, where she fell in love with the gorgeous cherry trees she enjoyed while there. With the support of First Lady Helen Taft, she was able to begin to seed Washington, DC with Sakuras, and it is thanks to her that we are able to enjoy these gorgeous blooms every Spring.
