Product Details
This Cardigan is worked from the bottom up in one piece to underarm then split. Back and Fronts are then worked separately. There are 4 versions for the Sleeves, VERSION1, knitted in the round, or knitted flat in 1 colour worked in stocking stitch, and VERSION2 knitted in the round, or knitted flat in 2 colours working the slip stitch pattern. When working the Sleeves you can use double pointed needles, alternatively you could use the magic loop method. Stitches are picked up around Neckline and Front Bands. Bands are worked in a Twisted rib pattern, a fair isle pattern adorning the bottom hemline, and the remainder of Cardigan Fronts and Back are worked in a simple slip stitch pattern using 2 colours. I have deliberately worked the bottom band on 4 mm (US 6 : UK 8) needles as I did not want the cardigan to be pulled in at the hemline.
