Last year my aunt sent me a package from Munich, Germany, with yarn. It was the first package she has ever sent to me in the more than 40 years of my living in the USA. I fell in love with the yarn right away because it is so soft and huggable. The Embrace Sweater was designed for that special yarn. The design intention was to stay close to my Bavarian roots and just slightly alter the look of the basic Bavarian garter-stitch sweater. The construction is modern top-down and in the round. There are no stitches to pick up and nothing to add.
