Product Details
The sweater is worked seamless from the top down, high collar/turtleneck is worked first then circular yoke to underarm. Body is worked next and Sleeves are knitted in the round last.
The whole garment is knitted in the round apart from a shortrow section to raise the neckline.
Yarn: Sirdar Harrap Tweed DK / Colour: Shade 0114 155m per skein / 8 (9, 10, 12,14) skeins Needles: Long circular 4.5mm for body & short 4.5mm or DPN’s for turtleneck and sleeves Gauge: 18sts x 28rds - 10x10cm/4x4” with 4.5mm needles knitted in the round (I wanted this to be a loose knit) Size: XS (S, M, L, XL) Dimensions: Bust: 95(100,109,116,127)cm/37.5(39.5,43,45.5,50)” (for larger sizes continue to increase yoke section) Length: 53(54,55,56,56)cm/21(21.25,21.75,22,22)” Sleeves: 48cm/19” or desired length
Shortrows are used to raise the neckline but if you do not feel confident with them they can be omited.
