🧶 I always like to try out special patterns. When I saw the ‘’Spike Stitch’’ for the first time, I knew I had to design something out of it. . The ribbing of this hat is worked in vertical rows. I used the short rows technique for the band to prevent the hat from slipping on your face. . The body of the hat is simply crocheted straight up. The height of the hat ends a little higher as the head is high. That’s the way you get a slouch fit. No stitches are decreased. At the end the yarn is pulled through the stitches and the hole is simply pulled shut.
