Product Details
This beautiful blanket uses a traditional Estonian stitch pattern. The coordinating decorative lace edging is not Estonian, but it makes for an easier project by knitting it alongside the main portion of the blanket. Skills used are YO, k2tog, SSK and nupps.
Tutorial of how to create nupps included.
Charted and written instructions are provided.
Difficulty: Intermediate Finished Measurement: 36” x 40”
Gauge is not crucial, larger needles and thicker yarn will make a larger blanket.
March 27, 2014: Pattern was updated because there was an error in row 9 of the Estonian Lace Pattern. "rep from * to 7 sts before marker" not 8 sts.
August 13, 2015: Pattern was updated because there was an error. After completing 10 reps of Estonian Lace Pattern then work rows 1-24. “At this point you will have completed 19 reps of the Right/Left Side Edging”, not 16 reps.

The nubbing in the pattern was much more challenging than I expected. The small needle size (and my general tight knitting) made it difficult to creat the nun . I tried the pattern 3 times and finally gave up. The picture is beautiful, but my output did not look like the photo.
